WHEREAS, the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has entered into a basic Agreement with the Government of the Republic of the Sudan for the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation among the people of the two countries;

WHEREAS, the Government of Ethiopia has expressed its willingness to develop cooperation in various fields in conformity with mutual benefits;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has accepted the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of the Sudan on Cooperation in the field of Culture signed on 11th May, 2002;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby, of the proclaimed as follows;
