The Legal Study, Drafting and Consolidation Directorate General is a department of the Ministry under the Law and Justice Service Division. Major responsibilities of the Directorate General include: drafting and consolidating federal laws; conducting legal researches; ensuring consistency of draft laws prepared by government organs with the Constitution, other federal laws as well as drafting techniques; providing legal advice to the Government; ensuring consistency of administrative agencies’ directives with the Federal Administrative Procedure Proclamation No. 1183/2020, registering, providing serial identification number and publicizing those directives adopted with the Federal Administrative Procedure Proclamation.
