The main duty and responsibility of the Directorate is coordinating the services provided by Branch Offices in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa and Hawassa. This responsibility includes, coordinating, directing, evaluating, providing feedback to Branch Offices, and establishing a uniform system for the activities carried out in such offices, ensuring the proper implementation of the complaint and grievance handling procedure by Branch Offices, receiving and investigating and deciding on complaints against decisions by branch offices, litigating on criminal cases filed in the Federal High Courts by Branch Offices in Addis Ababa, establishing, coordinating, and leading coordination between Branch Offices, coordinating relationships of the Branch Offices with stakeholders.
