WHEREAS, a Financing Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association stipulating that the International Development Association provide to the Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a Credit in an amount Equivalent 17,400,000 SDR (Seventeen million and four hundred thousand) Special Drawing Rights for financing the Eastern and Southern Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence project was signed in Addis Ababa on the 15th day of June, 2016.
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representativesof the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Financing Agreement at its session heldon the 7th day of July, 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with of Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
