WHEREAS the Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Djibouti has been signed in Addis Ababa, on the 17th day of March, 2017;
WHEREAS ratifying the Agreement promotes and strengthens international cooperation in criminal matters for the investigation and prosecution of offences and freezing and confiscation of the proceeds of crime;
WHERE AS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 25th day of June, 2020;
NOW,THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
