WHEREAS, Loan Agreements, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of | Ethiopia and the Export Import Bank of China stipulating that the Export Import Bank of China provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a credit amounting to 99,790,000 USD (ninety nine million seven hundred ninety thousand United Stat es Dollars) for financing Gibe III – Addis Ababa Power Transmission Lines and 88,510,000 USD (eighty eight million five hundred ten thousand United States Dollars) for financing the Gibe III-Addis Ababa Substations was signed on 23rd day of March, 2011;
WHEREAS the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Credit Agreements at its session held on the 16th day of June, 2011;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
