WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the European Investment Bank stipulating that the European Investment Bank provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a Loan in an amount of 50,000,000 Euros (Fifty million Euros) for financing Gilgel Gibe II Hydro Electric Project was signed in Brussels on the 31st day of October 2005;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 7th day of February 2006;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
