WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the European Investment Bank stipulating that the European Investment Bank provide to the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a loan amount of 70,000,000 Euro (seventy million Euro) for financing leasing and landing for SMEs project was signed in Addis Abeba on the 16th day of May 2017 and in Luxembourg on 18th day of May 2017;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 5th day of July 2017;
NOW, therefore, in accordance with Article 55(1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
