WHEREAS, an Agreement, on Trade, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Governwr;nt of the Republic of the Sudan was signed in Khartoum, Sudan, on the 61hday of March, 2000;

WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that the Agreement shall enter into force after the later date on which the Governments of the contracting parties have notified each other that their constitutional requirements for the entry into force of the Agreement have been fulfilled;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Agreement at its session held on the 30th ,day of November, 2000;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Sub-Articles (1) and (12) of Article 55 of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
