WHEREAS, an Agreement, on trade, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Russian Federation, was signed in Moscow on the 26th day of November, 1999;

WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that the Agreement shall come into force on the date of the last notification through diplomatic channels by which the contracting parties inform each other that their respective legal requirements for the entry into force of the Agreement have been fulfilled;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Agreement at its session held on the 6th day of July, 2000;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
