WHEREAS, the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has entered into basic Agreement with the Government of the Turkey for the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation among the people of the two countries;
WHEREAS, the Government of Ethiopia has expressed its willingness to develop cooperation’s in various fields in conformity with mutual benefits;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has accepted the ratification of the Cooperation Agreement Between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey in fighting Against International Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, International Terrorism and Organized Crime signed in Addis Ababa, 28th of March. 2001, at its session held on 22th day of May, 2003;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 sub-Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
