WHEREAS, the African Charter on Statistics has been adopted on the 4th day of February 2009 at the 12th session of the African Union Heads of State and Government Summit held in Addis Ababa;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Charter at its session held on the 27th day of March, 2014;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
