WHEREAS, an Agreement, on Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of Malaysia, was signed at Kuala Lumpur on the 22nd day of October, 1998;
WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that the Agreement shall enter into force on the date of its signing by both Contracting Parties and shall be implemented following the fulfillment of the respective Constitutional requirements;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Agreement at its session held on the 15th day of June, 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 sub-Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
