WHEREAS, it has been necessary to re-establish Chambers of Commerce and Sectorial Association in line with the free market economic policy of the country;
WHEREAS, it is believed that Chambers do play significant role in the promotion of trade industry and investment;
WHEREAS, it has been necessary to use Chambers of Commerce and Sectorial Association as a forum for the business community to conduct discussions on activities they are engaged in and on economic development issues in general; and submit their proposals or recommendations to the Government;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1)of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
