WHEREAS, the Media Proclamation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has been approved and put into effect, administrative gaps have been observed in terms of the regulatory power and duties of the media when the proclamation is implemented;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Media Proclamation No. 1238/2021 in order to address these gaps and properly manages the media sector;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows.
