The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter jointly referred to as “the Parties” and separately as “Party”;

With a view to promoting effective cooperation between the two countries in respect of mutual legal assistance in criminal matters on the basis of mutual respect for sovereignty, equality and mutual benefit;

Have decided to conclude this Treaty and have agreed as follows:
