WHEREAS, it is found Important to develop a legal framework that governs the general conditions governing the use of SIM cards; UNDERSTANDING that it is necessary to properly identify the conditions, under which the SIM card is issued, terminated and suspended; CONVINCED that it is crucial to develop a regulatory framework to monitor, administer and manage the National Subscription Records; NOW, THEREFORE, the Authority hereby issues this SIM Card Registration Directive in accordance with Communications Service Proclamation No. 1148/2019 Articles 6(2), 51(2) and 54(2).
