WHEREAS, the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has entered in to basic Agreement with the Great Socialist Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya for the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation among the people of the two countries.

WHEREAS, the House of People’s Representative of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has accepted the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Great Socialist Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya on Cooperation in the Field of Culture, Youth and Sports signed on 27, January 2004.

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is here by proclaimed as follows.
