WHEREAS, the Agreement on Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investment between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya was signed in Addis Ababa on 27 January 2004;
WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channels;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Treaty at its session held on the 15th day of June, 2004;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
