WHEREAS, the IGAD Council of Ministers has adopted the IGAD Convention on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters at its 33rd Ordinary Session held in Djibouti from the 7th to the 8th day of December 2009;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Convention at its session held on the 8th day of February,2012;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with sub-article (1) and (12) of Article 55 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
