WHEREAS, the IGAD Council of Ministers has adopted the IGAD Convention on Extradition at its 33rd Ordinary Session held in Djibouti from the 7th to the 8th day of December 2009;

WHEREAS, The House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Convention at its session held on the 8th day of February, 2012;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with sub-article (1) and (12) of Article 55 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows
