WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Development Bank stipulating that the African Development Bank provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a loan in an amount not exceeding 104,610,000.00 (One Hundred and Four Million Six Hundred and Ten Thousand) United States Dollars for financing the Mekelle-Dallol and Semera-Afdera Power Supply for Industrial Development and Access Scale-up Project, was signed on the 1st day of September, 2016;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 7th day of February, 2017;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
