WHEREAS, the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investment between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Arab Republic of Egypt is signed in Cairo July 27, 2006;
WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channel;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 6 day of February, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
