WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Development Fund stipulating that the African Development Fund provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia supplementary loan in an amount not exceeding 5,200,000 UA (five million two hundred thousand Units of Account) for financing the Ethio- Djibouti Power Interconnection Project was signed on the 13th day of November 2008;
WHEREAS, the House of peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 21st day of April, 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
