WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement, between the Federal the Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and African Development Fund stipulating that the African Development Fund provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a loan in an amount not exceeding UA 87,200,000 (eighty-seven million two hundred thousand Units of Account) for financing Rural Electrification Project II, was signed in Tunis on the 12th day of January 2007;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Loan Agreement at its session held on 17th day of May, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
