WHEREAS, the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is a party to main International Conventions on Penal matters;
WHEREAS, the Government of Ethiopia has consistently expressed its commitment to the international principles concerning the maintenance of international peace and security and the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation among states;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has accepted the Ratification of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Internationally Protected Persons, Including Diplomatic Agents at its Session Held on the 10th day of December,2002;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
