WHEREAS, it has become necessary to provide legal personality of the national institution established by Ethiopian Evangelical Churches and Evangelical Churches Unions in accordance with citizens’ rights to establish religious administration institutions based on Article 27 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia;

WHEREAS, it has become necessary to provide legal personality to Council of Ethiopian Evangelical Churches that represents large number of Evangelical Christian community in relation to the government as well as international level;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows.
