Yesuf Jemaw Seide has been serving the Ministry of Justice as Director of International Cooperation on Legal Affairs since August 2015. Before his appointment to his current position, he served as advisor to the ministers of justice, prosecutor with different levels under the Investigation and Prosecution Core Process, Crime Affairs Department, Civil Affairs Department as well as Addis Ababa Branch of the Ministry of Justice (Lideta). Moreover, he was seconded by the Ethiopian Government under IGAD Program to South Sudan for two years to serve as advisor in the parliament of the later.
