Getanh H. Geleta has been serving the Ministry of Justice as Head of Prosecutors Administration Main Council Office since July 2023. Before his appointment to his current position, he served as the Coordinator for Criminal Justice Policy and Crime Prevention Strategy, Coordinator for Legal Research and Study Coordinator and Higher Public Prosecutors under Ministry of Justice since 2017. Additionally Getaneh had served as Senior Legal Researcher under Federal Law and Justice Institute and Judge of Jima zone High Court, Judge and President of Worada court under Oromia Supreme Court since July 2011 after two years Judicial training (from November 2010 up to June 2011). With his 15+ years of experience in the regional and federal justice sector, Getaneh is ever committed to continue contributing to the respect of the rule of law and for justice to prevail in Ethiopia.
