The Office of Federal Public Prosecutor’s Administration Council is a department of the Ministry under the Institutional Building and Reform Division. Major responsibilities of the Office include; To formulate a system for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the prosecution service, to formulate strategies to attract and retain qualified prosecutors, to administer the prosecutors’ performance evaluation system, to prepare a document on the type, number and required skills of prosecutors needed for the institution in collaboration with Prosecutors’ Administration Council, to ensure that prosecutors are filled through promotion, recruitment and transfer, to provide registrar and secretariat services to the Prosecutors’ Administration Council, to collect the Service Report of prosecutors, to respond to non-decision-making/which does not need the decision of Prosecutors’ Administration council/ prosecutorial questions and to carry out general human resource management activities.
