WHEREAS, the Agreement of Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investment between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the State of Israel was signed in Jerusalem on November 26, 2003;

WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channels;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 27th of January, 2004;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
