WHEREAS, an Agreement on · the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is signed in Addis Ababa on 21st day of October 2003;

WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the last notification of either country to the other country the fulfillment of the entry in to force measures in accordance with its laws;

WHEREAS, the House of the People’s Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 28th day of October, 2004;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
