WHEREAS, it is found necessary to strengthen, to the extent circumstances allow, the public servants’ pension scheme organized under existing laws; and to amend and consolidate the pension legislations;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows;
