WHEREAS, to further strengthen existing bilateral relation between Ethiopia and Jordan; WHEREAS, a desire exists for Ethiopian workers in Jordan to have a legal framework and to protect their rights;

WHEREAS, the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has signed the said Memorandum of Understanding on 12 July 2023;

WHEREAS, the House of peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Memorandum of Understanding at its session held on the 14th day of March 2024;

NOW, THERERORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Article (1) and (12) of the constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows
