WHERE AS, a loan Agreement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Export-Import Bank of China stipulating that the Export-Import Bank of China provide to the Federal Democratic of Ethiopia a loan in an amount equivalent to one hundred and seventy one million eighty thousand four hundred United States Dollars(171,080,400 USD) for financing the Ethiopia Modjo Hawassa Highway (Arsi Negele Hawassa Section)project was signed in Beijing on the 12th day of May 2017;
WHERE AS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 5th day of July 2017;
NOW ,THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
