WHEREAS, a loan agreement, between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Export-Import Bank of China stipulating that the Export-Import Bank of China provide to the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a loan in an amount equivalent to 262,259,100.00 USD (two hundred sixty-two million, two hundred fifty-nine thousand, one hundred United States Dollars) for financing the Ethiopia Adama (Ethiopia–Hunan) Machinery and Industrial Park Project was signed in Beijing on the 12th day of May 2017;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 5th day of July 2017;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
