WHEREAS, the Agreement, on Mutual Administrative Assistance for the prevention, investigation and repression of customs offences between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Italy was signed in Rome on the 26th day of September 2006;
WHEREAS, the agreement enables both parties to share relevant Customs information, technical assistance and this in effect helps the Ethiopian Customs Authority to build its Capacity and thereby tackle its problem;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 24th day of April, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
