WHEREAS, to further strengthen existing bilateral relation between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Lebanon;
WHEREAS, a desire exists for Ethiopian workers in Lebanon to have a legal framework and to protect their rights;
WHEREAS, the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has signed the said Agreement on 11th day of April, 2023;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its 8th Regular session held on 14th day of December, 2023;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
