WHEREAS, to further strengthen existing bilateral relation between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of India;

WHEREAS, in view of facilitating the entry of citizens of the Parties who are holders of valid Diplomatic Passport into the respective countries, without the need to obtain visa for a specified period;

WHEREAS, the Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of India on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic Passport was signed in India on 19th February, 2021;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said agreement at its 3rd year working period, 2nd ordinary session held on 17th Day of October, 2023;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
