Honorable Mr. Tesfaye Daba has served his country leading various public institutions for more than twenty years and has worked toward ensuring the rule of law, strengthening foreign relation of the country and reforming the justice system.
Honorable Mr. Tesfaye Daba was appointed and served as State Minister for Cabinet Affairs at the Prime minister’s office; Member of the House of peoples Representatives and Chairperson of the Standing Committee of Foreign Relation and Peace Affairs; Deputy Head of Justice Bureau of Oromia Regional state; Director of Cabinet & Legal Affairs Directorate in the Oromia Regional State Government; Legal Advisor to Oromia Regional state President and Head of the Department of Research & Project Preparation Department and Trainer in Oromia Justice Sector Professionals Training Center.
While leading various public institutions, Honorable Mr. Tesfaye Daba, has been involved and done outstanding job in the process of strengthen the country’s foreign relation; reforming the justice system; enacting new laws and amending the existing one; and reorganizing and strengthening justice institutions to deliver efficient justice service to the society.
Honorable Mr. Tesfaye Daba is, currently, working in the ministry as State Minister for the Attorney General Division and leading different departments that has been working to safeguard the constitution and the constitutional order; to uphold the rule of law; to enforce criminal law, to hold responsible perpetrators of crime; to return asset that has been stolen through various crimes and to protect the interest of the public and the government.
