WHEREAS, an International Convention on Liability and Compensation for Damage in Connection with the Carriage of Hazardous and Noxious Substances by Sea has been adopted by the International Maritime Organization in 1996;
WHEREAS, the House of peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has
ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 30th day of April, 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
