WHEREAS, the Paris Agreement was adopted in Paris on 12 December 2015, to enhance the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change;
WHEREAS, the Paris Agreement was signed by the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in New York on 22 April 2016;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
