WHEREAS, Article 4 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia stipulates that the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia shall have a National Anthem;
WHEREAS, the Constitution provides that particulars of the National Anthem shall be determined by law;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 4 and Article 55 sub article (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
