Whereas, a convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income (the Convention) was signed between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus on the 30th of December 2015, in Cairo;
Whereas, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said convention at its session held on June 29th, 2017;
Now, therefore, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
