WHEREAS, the Loan Agreement, between the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and International Development Association stipulating that International Development Association shall provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a Loan an amount equivalent to Two Hundred and Fifty-Five Million Seven Hundred Thousand Special Drawing Rights (SDR 255,700,000) for Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project–Phase II, was signed in Addis Ababa on 4th day of April, 2024;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its 29th regular session held on 30th day of May, 2024;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
