WHEREAS, it is found necessary to clarify those unclear provisions and to include new provisions in the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Proclamation No. 780/2013; WHEREAS, it is found necessary to incorporate provisions, which meets the international standards and is consistent with other laws of the country adequately responding to current problems; NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby Proclaimed as follows:
1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (Amendment) Proclamation No. 1387/2025.”
2. Amendment Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Proclamation No. 780/2013 is hereby amended as follows:
