Mr, Mersha Beyensa Jatema has been serving as Federal Prosecutor at the Federal Ministry of Justice since 2015 G.C. He joined our Ministry as Junior Federal Public Prosecutor in 2015 obtaining his LLB degree from Jimma University in 2014 G.C. He further pursued his LLM Degree in Business Law at Addis Ababa University and graduated in 2023 G.C. Besides this, Mersha has pursued his LLM degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, currently under taking his LLM thesis.
Mr, Mersha has served as a Junior Federal Public Prosecutor from 2015 to 2022 G.C at Federal Ministry of Justice, Addis Ketema Sub-city division bench. He then joined Miscellaneous Crimes Prosecution Directorate, Prosecutor General Division and served with the position of Senior Federal Public Prosecutor until October ,2024 G.C.
Later, in October of 2024, he was appointed being Deputy Director of Miscellaneous Crimes Prosecution Directorate at Prosecutor General Division of Federal Ministry of Justice until December, 2025 G.C. From then on, Mr Mersha Beyensa is currently a Director of Miscellaneous Crimes Prosecution Directorate at Prosecution Attorney General Division of FDRE Ministry of Justice.
