WHEREAS, a Bilateral Air Transport Services Agreement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Nigeria was signed in Abuja on 5th day of July 2005;

WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that the Agreement shall come into force on the date of the last notification of notes from either contracting parties confirming its ratification in accordance with its laws and regulation;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Agreement on its meeting held on the 20th day of June, 2006;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub-Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
