WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement, between the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Japan International Cooperation Agency stipulating that the Japan International Co-operation Agency provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a Loan amount of 9,655,000,000 Japanese Yen (Nine Billion Six Hundred Fifty Five Million Japanese Yen) for financing Jimma-Chida and Sodo-Sawla Road Upgrading Project (Jimma-Chida Section) was signed in Addis Ababa on 30th day of March 2020;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 5th day of May, 2020;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows.
