WHEREAS, a Financing Agreement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Fund for Agricultural Development stipulating that the International Fund for Agricultural Development provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a loan in the amount of SDR 72,950,000.00 (Seventy-Two Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Special Drawing Rights) for financing the Participatory Small Scale Irrigation Development Programme Phase II was signed on the 2nd day of December 2016 in Rome;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 7th day of February 2017;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
